A resource to assist teachers, Progressing Numeracy is a resource to support learning outcomes in numeracy for adult Indigenous learners undertaking the course for Preliminary Spoken and Written English (Pre CSWE) and Certificates I and II in Spoken and Written English. Negotiating Workplace Training
This website was developed by a consortium led by Communication in Education and Training Pty Ltd. It contains lots of excellent resources and links useful for all Registered Training Organisation (RTOs) and workplace trainers setting up training systems integrating language, literacy and numeracy and meeting the AQTF quality standards. It contains mapping of Training Packages to the NRS; tips on how to read the language, literacy and numeracy in Training Packages; tips on customising training, examples and proformas for pre-training assessment or training needs analysis tools; and case studies and materials from those who have done it.
NRS Snapshots an ANTA Adult Literacy National Project, 1999, produced a series of case studies that demonstrated the versatility of the NRS framework in developing innovative curriculum.
